Indoor Dog Parkour Class

Here in Ohio the days are starting to get shorter, the weather is getting colder, and soon enough there will be snow. (Or worse yet, ICE. This is central Ohio after all.) But this doesn't mean we will stop having fun with Dog Parkour. (If you don't know what dog parkour is, see this blog post). Outdoor class will still continue, for those brave (or foolish) enough to deal with the weather and lack of sunlight, but we will also be offering indoor class.

At first class Indoor Dog Parkour class looks like a combination of tricks, agility, fun, and a bit of silliness. This isn't far from the truth. In our indoor class we still work on moving through the environment, but instead of walls, benches, logs or rocks we have chairs, boxes and toys. The dogs learn about objects that move, items that make noise, climbing, going through and under objects, jumping and balancing. Because this class is inside the distractions are less, so it is more suitable for a less experienced dog, yet still challenging for even an agility champion. And we have fun. Lots of fun. After all what good is training your dog if it isn't fun?
